About this tool

Wheely Fortune is a free online spinning wheel you can use straight from the browser on a phone, tablet, laptop or a classroom projector. Type your own options, pick colours and emojis, or let the built-in AI write a full set of short, playful phrases for you in seconds.

The wheel spins with realistic physics: it accelerates, decelerates and lands on a genuinely random slice, with sound, confetti and vibration feedback where the device supports it. Every wheel you build is stored on your device, so it is still there the next time you open the page.

There is also a full TV game show mode: spin the studio wheel, guess consonants, buy vowels and solve the hidden puzzle against friends or computer players. It is an independent, fan-made tribute to the classic word-and-wheel format, not an official product.

Rules of the game

  1. Open the wheel and tap Edit to add your own options, or tap the AI button and choose a theme to have the phrases written for you.
  2. Give any option a bigger or smaller weight if you want it to come up more or less often.
  3. Tap the big spin button (or the wheel itself) and let it slow down on its own — no skill, no timing tricks.
  4. The slice under the pointer wins. Celebrate, share the result, then spin again or edit the wheel for the next round.
  5. In TV game show mode, players take turns spinning for a cash value, calling a consonant, buying vowels and finally solving the puzzle. Landing on Bankrupt clears your round bank and passes the turn.

FAQ

Is the wheel really random?
Yes. Each spin uses the browser's random number generator, adjusted only by the weights you set yourself. Nothing is pre-decided and no result is favoured.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
The wheel, the AI phrases and the game show mode are free to use with no account. Signing in is optional and only syncs your saved wheels between devices.
Can I use it on a phone or without installing anything?
Yes. It runs in any modern mobile or desktop browser, and you can add it to your home screen as an app if you prefer a full-screen experience.
